Rupp is nearly a 2:05-Marathon-guy now. If you ever do confront I'm with such a t-shirt, I hope someone inflicts you with a severely acute wedgie befitting the severely chronic loser you appear to be.
He started crying. Knowing that despite having a sub 14 min 5k, 100k salary, he would never have a solid 10 Ukrainian wife.
Letsrun actually made a shirt that says that?
And they actually wonder why he hates this site. What a lame, shitty thing to do.
Yesm the main Letsrun t-shirt says that.
That reminds me of the 'Stop Pre' t-shirts in the 70s. Pre made a fun of it wearing one himself. Don't know if Rupp has a sense of humour like that.
Were those shirts making fun of him?
Yes. At the pre classic in 2015. I also asked him to sign it.
Probably doesn’t even know this is a thing lol
Why would I ever wear a Not Rupp Certified t-shirt?
I saw him and made eye contact once, but he was running and paid little attention. It was also dark so he would not likely have seen the shirt if I had one. I was wearing something offensive to Nike but I forget what it was.

I'm hoping he signed it before reading what it said

There’s an anecdote from this week’s “week in review” on letsrun:
“...at the 2015 Pre Classic I asked Rupp to sign it after the 5k (he was signing stuff from other people) and he refused. Looking back that was probably a little obnoxious of me since it does say ‘not Rupp certified’ on it and he had just lost to the 5000 to Yomif Kejelcha who was relatively unknown at the time.”
My question: Why would anyone do something so uncouth?
My advice: Rupp should openly embrace the criticism, going so far as publicly criticizing himself on a regular basis.

When we had out tshirt design contest we did reach out to Ricky Simms out making a Rupp Certified shirt that said
RUPP
26:44.36
CERTIFIED
They weren't interested so we didn't make it.
Not Rupp Certified is anything that isn't perfectly kosher. Cross country courses with potholes. Some of the stuff on LetsRun.com. Plus Galen and Alberto aren't fans of the site. I thought it was good fit and clear.
"Rupp Certified" is more a meme than an anything.
Nothing against Galen and Al, but they've never struck me as having much in the way of a sense of humour. Met AlSal when he came to Australia back in the day and he definitely hasn't.

Wimps. Cross country courses WITHOUT potholes aren't kosher.
Try some courses through ploughed fields and rivers. M A G A!
