was he really being boxed in?
Perhaps not intentionally, but it did look cumbersome. It's not an overly likable way of explaining an underwhelming performance: by making a brash (if not fully unfeasible) claim of superiority.

No offence to you Americans, but Pre has become such a rubbish, low-rent meet. First of all, I don't consider the mile and two miles, or any other non metric distance for that matter, legitimate distances. No one outside the US/UK understands or cares. And as if the weak, watered down fields weren't bad enough, they schedule it right opposite the Champions League final where Real Madrid will be playing Liverpool. No television in the world will be on Pre, I can guarantee you that. What were they thinking?
I would agree with this sentiment if it was late June/early July but these guys still have three months to go. Nobody wants to run a standard distance this early in the season.
As for choosing your TV battles you make a good point. That has to be a DL conflict because I seems as though Pre is more US focused.

Modesty is a virtue:)
Pictures show Henrik was boxed in, but held on to the inner rail from the first meter. Then the only one to blame is himself.
It looks like Dani Jones is rabbiting the 1500 on Saturday. Does anyone know if NCAA rules allow her to get paid for this?

I would be stunned if she can get paid.

Worth noting for those that have NBC Sports Gold, the ad free stream starts at 345 eastern, which will allow us to see the international mile (starts at 348). Tv coverage doesn't start until 400.
Thx for that, but those of us who live outside the U.S. (almost exactly 95% of the world's population) have absolutely no access to NBC Gold. Any viable alternatives???
VPN, my friend.
I live outside the US and bought it last year...boy did I feel scammed when I found out I couldn't even access it after paying that money.

I agree with the scheduling, but I wouldn’t call the fields weak or watered down. They just underperformed relative to the expectations everyone had.

How and when did you find this out? I was hoping they'd broadcast it but Jonathan Gault didn't find any info to that effect. I know Weldon talked to their marketing people and weldon asked me what he shoudl tell them to do. I said, "Make it clear so someone knows what the package covers and when it is on. It's my job to know these things and i can barely figure it out."
