I wish she would run. This Pre is literally a car crash without runners like her in it(this is a witty pun). Ayana is literally the female Bekele(she is also Ethiophian).

didn't think that 5000m pacer would make it another 100m
She won't win everything, with all the dopers out there, but Shelby has the best-timed kick in the business. Rapier-sharp cuts on the final 100.

Wow, obvious jealously from you. Put your money where your mouth is and give quotes where she ever whined about getting beat. All top athletes hate getting beat, but then you wouldn't know that would you. They voice dissatisfaction but whining, seriously get a life!
You live in a sad fantasy world.
Just wait for her to be interviewed... 100% she throws slight at someone. Total passive aggressive whiner.

And she is a great responder just like Bekele. Someday it's all going to fall apart. lol
14:35 pace at 3k
61 aecond last lap by Dibaba. Obiri looks better but she was still struggling at the end.
Dibaba takes it in 14:26, world lead, Giday 2nd. I feel like this would be much more impressive if we weren't thinking it could be a record beforehand

It must be great to have talent, be allowed to use drugs, and be a great responder to those drugs. Wow. Easy 14:26. What could she run clean? 14:50 maybe?
I would marry Dibaba.

At least they ran fast, unlike the sleeper last night.
Women's pro track and field distance athletes actually try to run fast, unlike the men.

She did't have it to lead on her own for the last 4 laps, which is why she told Gidey to pace. Her and Ayana just do not know how to get the pave right to break the WR. Tirunesh ran a killer second half split, and didn't go out at a blistering pace.
it is going to take that same tactic. Run the first half with your head and run the second half with your legs.
Miller-Uibo could have a great run if she catches that wind on the home stretch.

Agreed. Could be well under 50 if she can back up her 150 WR speed earlier.
If you thought that this was an actual world record attempt then you clearly haven't seen any race Dibaba has run in over the last 2-3 years, pretty much every single one is billed as a record attempt. It would be nice if they didn't cry wolf every single race but apparently the announcers think only world records are interesting in distance races.

Yea I know, that's what I was alluding to, it dampers every race she runs.
Hot damn! Miller Uibo 49.51 in the wind.
Another 49.5
When do you think well see sub 49?
