Prediction: Muir 3:57
No way. She spent the last few weeks studying. Even if she were in good shape, middle of the day in a windy stadium. 4:04 will be the winning time.
I love Muir but I got to agree. A low 4:03 at best...
Houlihan gets her sub-4 with a 3:59.06! Beats Simpson storming down the back stretch.
Simpson 3rd but an awesome rear!!!

Er, the front stretch that is. Muir 2nd 3:59.3, Simpson 3rd.
DANG! Maybe Houlihan should focus on the 1500m instead of the 5000m.
LOVE seeing Simpson - the whiner - get kicked down. Beautiful.
Shelby - I love you. What a gal.
Dayum!! Nice Shelby!
What was jenny thinking trying to lead the race to home for two straight laps?
That reminded me of what Dibaba tried to do in 1500m Olympic race, and got killed down the
stretch by Faith.
Jenny is a sit and kicker, so that really weight to see her use that tactic.
Great race by Shelby, and she PR'd.
I was wrong
okay people talk about how they can kick, that was quite the kick for real
and is it just me or does nbcsn commentary not totally suck
will have to compare eurosport on youtube later

Maybe with records in mind later in the season, she wants to be comfortable pushing on in from the front
Jenn Suhr still got it
You missed the point.Clearly.
At least they ran fast, unlike the sleeper last night.

Wow, obvious jealously from you. Put your money where your mouth is and give quotes where she ever whined about getting beat. All top athletes hate getting beat, but then you wouldn't know that would you. They voice dissatisfaction but whining, seriously get a life!
Does that make Houlihan the 5th fastest American after Rowbury, Slaney, Simpson, and SFH?

You guys are clowns. Leave the prediction game to the experts.
Throwin' the Houlihan!
Jenny set up the sub-4. She wont Pre a few years back leading the race, not today. Shelby is a born 1500 runner, such a sharp kick.
