So, um, capitalism.
Um, not representative of capitalism. The tech industry ranks as the far extreme of capitalism. It exploits slave labor for profit. It abuses tax laws. It imposes non-competitive barriers on its competitors. It operates much like the robber barons of yesterday (ahem Leland Stanford). Only today's tech robber barons make the Stanfords, Vanderbilts, Rockefellers, look like the JV team.
This pastor is an uber-liberal calling out the corporate liberals...from a "church". Quite the mix going on there.
I seriously doubt this guy even believes anything about the Bible.

They are operating within the law. Their objective is to maximize shareholder value. The part that isn’t representative of capitalism is the federal government forcing Silicon Valley to send a chunk of its profits to socialist red states who can’t pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
And now our feminine President is intent on trying to take down the most successful tech capitalist in the history of the world, as he spends the first 6 hours of his day watching morning talk shows targeted at housewives and putting on makeup. American masculinity is dead.

"an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state"
Silicon Valley is the *epitome* of capitalism. All of those things you state above are the logical conclusions - not the extremes - of unbridled capitalism. Very interesting that the things you mention are issues in which the government had to intervene to counteract the effects. Oh, wait, that's socialism.
Do I need to repeat it? wrote:

The logical conclusions of unbridled socialism is that EVERYONE is destitute, poor and miserable - EQUALITY ACHIEVED!!
maybe, just maybe, there's a sweet spot somewhere in between ayn rand and north korea.
btw, only in america are liberal and leftist used as synonyms. doesn't make any sense.

Tech actually improves the world. Religion does not.
The religion industry is motivated by conceit, fear, greed, and the myth that their beliefs are somehow always improving the world.

Not sure why you are confused. Most of the world leans very far left of the USA, so their middle is not anywhere close to our middle.
Who's to say SV is not the sweet spot that you describe. I've been there many times. I don't see too many destitute people...or any.

his "church" does not appear to be a church in the traditional sense
We need to know the following:
What is his 5k PR?
What does his wife and/or gf look like?
Does he regularly visit the LR message board?
Now that he is unemployed, when will he be moving into his mother's basement?

It sounds like 800m coaches need to focus recruiting efforts on Silicon Valley.
Or is the best way to run a 5K on complete hypocrisy?
Great post for a running website, cheers rojo.
Stir up a conservative Vs liberal argument for clicks ?
That fake religious clown to move to a dump run by fascists. A hell hole, a dictatorship, with no freedom, no human rights, and no democracy. A toilet like Saudi Arabia, Russia, Israel, China, Texas, Cuba, Jordan, Egypt, etc. We'll see then how he likes it over there ;-)
It's pretty sad when people attack the messenger and ignore the message.

I think many have attacked his intolerant message. Thoughtful people can disagree about the merits of socialism, which is what he is preaching when he, for example, outright judges and condemns the morality of Facebook HQ (lawfully acquired) displacing other real estate uses. Sees like this "preacher" would prefer Bangladesh-style slums everywhere.
California is so very socially progressive and technologically light years ahead of the rest of the world it should secede from the United States for the betterment of Mankind.
