See link to start list below. I'll preface my comment by stating that I think Cheserek wins in 8:10.
Starting off with the whispers that Lomong is rabbiting through halfway in 4:04, it's quite a pity that Cheptegei is out for the season after his CWG double. He would have made the race very interesting. I'm curious to see how Henrik Ingebrigtsen fares, and just where Chelimo fits in. Sleeper here is Mo Ahmed. He's deceptively fast. I think Hill is past his prime and won't be a factor. Mead is coming off an injury, but has to have confidence with his 15 from oxy. Tanui is a wild card with good speed, but 2 miles might be a bit short. Edris has yet to show his London firm this season; but his younger countryman Barega could really do some damage if he goes from far out.
Extra sauce: Brazier opens his season vs korir, world indoor champ kzsczot, and a previously hobbled Amos. Korir in 1:43.50
