hey everyone,
not sure what is up with my upper calf, almost directly behind my knee, but more on the inside of my upper calf. I can run for 40 minutes and then it begins to feel like my calf could snap. Is it tight calf muscles? Hamstring tightness? IT band problems? Its all good under 40 mins but anything over it hurts and greatly effects my running form. I have taken days off and it still does not help the issue.
anyone ever had any trouble with this?

Maybe a compartment syndrome of some sort. Does the pain go away shortly after stopping running?

yes for the most part. within 30 minutes it feels normal again. if anything walking is discomfort for a few hours but overall its fine. think I should stretch my calf or would that do more damage? there is no swelling and no lumps that indicate a strain, but can you always physically feel a calf strain?
