Funny you should mention that, no, no one has broken 4:00 in Colorado yet and at this same meet (St. Vrain Invitational) they have an elite mile and they've built up I think $20,000 in prize money for the first person to break 4 minutes. There's been multiple threads on here from Mark Roberts (the meet organizer) soliciting elite milers to come to Colorado for this race. Having said that I know Adam Goucher ran a sub 4 equivalent for the 1500 in Colorado when he ran for CU. I think there have been some other college runners that have been really close, so it definitely can be done.
