Wow, great video! Thanks for posting it.
No sarcasm intended... It's really good.

Rupp closed the last 4K at 2:03:30 Marathon Pace, including a blazing 2:48 last K ( he threw up after this last big push ). He was ready to run 2:05 flat on a better course with better weather.
it does appear that just ideal-weather and altitude/pavement adjusting this result suggests a 2:05:00 is possible now for Galen, which is fantastic.
So like the second group of 10 in Berlin or Dubai I guess, which isn't bad at all tbh

Rupp has lost to 3 people in his entire marathon career so I feel confident saying he's not a 'second group' kind of guy...

Of course he has only lost to three people and isn't a second group kind of guy; he drops out of every marathon in which he knows he won't place, and he would end up in the second group (or worse) if he didn't drop out.

Ah yes, such a wimp for one DNF. Joining the company of other soft, super-wimps like, say, Wilson Kipsang or Haile Gebrselassie. What a bunch of second-rate losers.

The guy has dropped out of exactly one marathon the was contested in freakishly terrible weather. He then goes on to run 2:06:07 three weeks later so was clearly in good shape. STFU with this Rupp hating bs.

So much for the claim that Salazar and Rupp made that they don't bother (waste time) with letsrun.com.

Agreed. He's clearly a very good runner, albeit a cheater.

2:06:07 is faster than 2:06:17...and if Rupp had been at Boston that day in 2011 in his current fitness, he would have been battling Mutai for the win, not 2 minutes back.

Rupp dropping out of only one marathon and coming back 20 days later to run a 3 minute PB and win a marathon = good decision to drop out
have you ever won a big race? conference, regionals. state meet? big ten etc?
serious question.

The ANNOUNCER was the one who mentioned letsrun not Rupp or Salazar.
You don't know anything about AlSal's LRC history.http://levelrenner.com/2014/02/26/alberto-salazar-no-one-man-should-have-all-that-power/
