You just exposed yourself as a complete tool. You seem to only notice and bash whites following whites, yet you completely ignore the fact that in most of the world every other race is "backing" their own as you say. You are a the definition of a racist!
DEFINITION: Racist -- See 'tool shed'

If you run one time many, many times (2:09-plus) and another time once (2:06-plus) then you are officially the 2:09 guy since that is the time you usually run.
Is it hard to be this stupid? Can you tie your own shoes or do you have to wear Velcro?
Too risky for him. He would probably attach the velcro strap to his nut hair by mistake.

“Tool shed” is “PCFools” who is also better known as “coevett”. In the space of about a week he’s emerged as the most disgusting, racist menace on this board. Should be banned 80X over.
well I guess you could argue that if you related to settlers of the colonies that became USA after revolution then you would be more American than indigenous people who may have lived on the land but were not citizens of the newly formed country.
Great race indeed, but does anyone else think Rupp looks a bit pale and sickly sometimes? I can't quite but my finger on it. Ryan Hall always looked like a friggin god, but Rupp always has a kind of sallow appearance, like he hasn't slept well for a long time....anyone else notice this?
You are an embarrassment. I totally understand supporting athletes that represent your country. But I don't understand supporting only athletes from your country that are a certain race and it is even more confusing to me that someone would support an athlete representing a DIFFERENT country purely BECAUSE they are a certain colour.
My example of the Ingerbritsens was simply because you see it a lot here. Black posters that only support black athletes from around the world and see white athletes as inferior are equally as unpalatable.
KK is the American record holder dude was living and working in NYC as a freaking dishwasher and training. He wasn't just focused on running with no job. It wasn't like those Kenyans that represent Bahrain.
Credit to Rupp as he didn't just sit and kick he shared the lead with Lemma a few times. He is now a 2:06 guy and I can't take that away from him.
Still hate his guts and think he's dirty though.

So you really think KK was not a doper?? C'mon now.

LOL ... and you think Rupp is not a doper?
I’m glad he proved everyone in this forum wrong (myself included, I was predicting a win with 2:07 today).
He proved he can go fast. Now should focus on the official American record and the Olympics. Great job Galen and Al!!
So, previously, Rupp was a "2:09 guy". Now he's a "2:06 guy".
Ok, fine. What's interesting is how many "2:04 guys" and "2:05 guys" have finished behind Rupp in previous marathons. Obviously, if a "2:04 guy" races against Rupp, who is a "2:09 guy", the "2:04 guy" wins by 5 minutes, right?
Just doesn't seem to work out that way.
Not sure how many "2:04 guys" Rupp beat in Rio, Boston and Chicago and now Prague, but it's quite a few. How do we account for that? A lot of "2:04 guys" seem to come out of Dubai, but just can't seem to pull it off in head to head races.
I'd like to suggest that the moniker "2:04 guy" and "2:06 guy" doesn't mean that much; it's head to head competition that tells the story.
So now Rupp is a "2:06 guy". Well, he's finished 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, DNF and 1st in his marathons so far, and beaten a number of "2:04 guys". What's the deal with that?
Great performance of Galen Rupp. Respect!

I think what you are pointing out is the difference in his facial structure and skull size. Nazi Germany relied on anthropometric measurements. extremely racist and hated filled to even think it let alone bring it up.

Thank you for your service!
Several updates from Prague:
-- Rupp was relaxed throughout this weekend. Even this morning he looked relatively relaxed, with "small" pre-race nerves. Comparing to two Bostons and one Prague Half -- This was "easier" morning for him.
-- Confidence without arrogance, friendly to staff and other athletes.
-- RunCzech has a YouTube channel and race will be uploaded in coming days. As you will see, he ran brave race, patient race and there was a lot in the tank to start with. This was 2:04 high performance if today was Berlin Marathon and if he went out on 62:30 pace on Berlin's fast course. This was maybe slightly better than 2:04 high.
-- Prague course is not really hilly. It is twisty and tourney, it requires commitment and prepared athletes run well here. It is not easy course, it is not that difficult course. It is course that asks questions - left-right, tram tracks, some cobblestones, but there are good and long sections next to the river that are perfectly flat.
-- As you will see once race video is online - There were some odd kilometres before pacemaker dropped, there was jogging and annoyance with Lemma who decided not to work with Rupp after several kilometres of good collaboration. There were good cat and mouse moments .
I am worried about everything that surrounds his group, as I am worried about where the sport is when it comes to doping issues elsewhere, including East Africa, Jamaica, US and so on -- from sprint to field to middle distance to long distance and roads.
Hence, not a fan, but until we know more, if there is more to know, his performances are respectable and his demeanour on and off field of play deserves appreciation.
But, again, not a fan and very difficult to really appreciate and get inspired by all of this.
The last half hour of the race is now on YouTube as "Prague Marathon 2018 last kilometers". Really impressed with Rupp! Ran like an animal!
Just like that Rupp is 2.5 minutes faster than Yuki kawauchi.... kinda validates that the weather and cold was why he dropped out of Boston since it's only 3 weeks later
