Too much stake is put into arm swing, but Gwen's form just looks inefficient. She was clearly struggling to hold the pace.

well Gwen rather tall, a half foot over Sara Hall (5'10" vs 5'4")
so longer arms gives the appearance of less efficient at speed if there is flailing
but not necessarily so, off the top of my head Camille Herron is just as tall at 5'10" and has similar distracting arm swing while still achieving a 2:37 marathon

I feel like Gwen doesn’t bounce off of her feet enough, or at least not nearly as much as others. Looks like she’s slamming her feet a bit more than she should. Sara has a bouncier stride and I feel like that translates to a better and more efficient rhythm for her. I’m excited to see how Gwen does with further development and more mileage.
Ashley Brasovan 11th. Her comeback continues...
Too bad it was a mass start, Sara might have won if the women had a separate start.
Looks like Gwen blew up trying to hang on to Sara the first half.
Was there something about how the start was conducted that prevented Sara from going with Aliphine? Pretty sure she was welcome to do that - she gambled that Aliphine was making a mistake and was almost right. Almost.
I like Aliphine -- based off her social media, she's funny and doesn't take herself very seriously. I understand that for Gwen et. al it's all part of their personal brand and making a living, but I like the low key (yet fast as hell) athletes too and it's nice to see them win.

Yeah, all the men in the way. Then a group pulling her along in the early stages. It definitely changed the dynamics of the race.

I just downloaded it to my laptop using a chrome plug in. Didn’t pay a single dime.

You're such a Gwen hater. Just admit it.
It's a pretty good effort for a first competitive half marathon.

The TRUTH hurts.
GWEN really disappointed:

I'm not sure her big plan of "working hard, doing hard work" is brilliant.
Would it be a good idea for GWEN to just do the pacer for JORDAN HASAY in some fast marathon? Or is she too slow?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
