What you may not understand is the GOAT is a matter of opinion. Regardless of whether Kiprop officially loses his WC gold, the effect on most people's opinion will be to put Centro into that slot, elevating his GOAT-worthiness.

You can look up the number of times athletes have been tested in a season. Rupp and Centro. Eing tested well over 20 times - close to 30 some years while their African counterparts get tested 3 times in season etc when they know the tests are coming. Not exactly a level playing field unless you are a self hating defender of all things PC.

I know right. And the fancy bear report that leaked that Jager was a likely doper was just a bunch of jealous Russian hackers with a personal vendetta against our golden one.
It must be said that Jager probably has been let off the hook a bit too easily for the leaked Athlete Blood Passport result. He may be American, friendly, good-looking - all which seems to suggest he isn't the type to dope - but the reality is the ABP has revealed he probably was doping. The burden of evidence on the ABP is set too high to convict many athletes at this point, but realistically it is highly suspicious, and it is definite American-favouritism to presume he is innocent and it was all a mix-up. If he was Kenyan or Russian people would probably be more critical.
Having said all of that... Willis was not on either Fancy Bears list, has never had another athlete accuse him of doping, and has never had a positive doping test. So stop with this false equivalency between Willis and Kiprop - it just isn't there. Kiprop is a proven doper; Willis is absolutely not. So, in many peoples' minds, Kiprop's positive test makes it fair to believe that Nick Willis is the true 2008 Olympic Champion.
