I raced against Brendan Rodney over 400m at Canadian Nationals in 2015. I kept up for the first curve but he crushed me after that. He basically jogged out of the blocks and still ran 47.
Rodney later went on that summer to win a bronze at world's in the 4x100m and bronze at the Olympics in the same event. In 2016 he ran 19.96 for 200m wind legal to win the Olympic Trials. The race was delayed by 90 minutes due to heavy rain and he still broke 20s on a wet track. Best race I've ever seen with my own eyes.
