From Notre Dame:
"The last time Rohrer was out on the track for the Irish, she was running the 10000m at Hayward Field at the 2017 NCAA Championships. Rohrer was back at it in the 10000m Thursday night at Franklin Field and she picked up where she left off after an extremely successful sophomore year. Rohrer placed first in the 10000m with a time of 33:25.24, which currently ranks third in the ACC and ninth nationally. Fellow junior Annie Heffernan placed third in the event with a personal record of 33:48.25."
She won by a ton.

That is great to see. I'm a huge fan of Rohrer, and can sympathize with someone who has gone through significant injury problems. Great to see her back out there, and even better that it could start off with a bang. Hopefully she can stay healthy the rest of the outdoor season and make some noise at NCAAs.

Rojo, why no love for Taryn Cordani who finished right between the two ND girls you mentioned?
Is it because she's from Ithaca? -

Maybe you should try reading a little more carefully. Rojo was only posting about Rohrer. He noted that the paragraph was a quote from the ND website, which obviously would not mention Cordani. -

Anna always looks like she has gastric distress of some sort when she runs. Heffernan is a cutie. -
Cool, she would only lose by a mile to Ayana in a 10k.

Wow you have issues.
Why don't you try getting a brain for a change. -
is anyone able to explain why girls put those tattoo things on their face before stepping on the track?
this is not something I've ever seen in the UK but it seems very popular over there in disneyland.
cheers. -
This is great news for Coach Sparks. Now he can double her in the 10k-5k at conference and come back and do the same thing at First Round and if she hasn't broke yet, he can do the same thing at Nationals. If she does break he can blame it on the athlete and say something stupid like "she wanted to do it".

Does she still do a lot of body weight exercises? Like 100s of push-ups?

I live over here in "disneyland" but I'm a guy so have basically no clue. Some kind of team spirit thing. -
It's a HS girl thing.

I thought that was Tessa Barrett who did countless body weight reps? Rohrer too? -

Yes, D3 Ithaca College. -
If you think calling Ayana a doper is racist, you are so informed. No one runs a world record over 10k without pacers in an Olympic final and drops a 2:45 k in the middle.

Taryn Cordani is from Ma. If she has any CC elig' remaining (she's a Sr) she should look into Prov.,BU.

Agreed. In contrast, the Heffernan girl looks like she's exerting zero effort in this photo. Tremendous potential???
