1. Tarnished. For sure. It wasn't a good sign when Farah left because he didn't want to be associated with the group. I like the younger runners they have but now I think of Hasay, Engels, Murphy, all differently. Not necessarily in a bad way, just different. I honestly don't see the appeal in going there if I were a top runner & senior in college. I get that they have the resources but plenty of other groups do too now.
2. Less willing, which I wish wasn't true. I think groups should be better about putting out gear so that you can support them. I have no interest in purchasing NOP gear.
3. Less willing but let's be honest I have a pair of the 4%'s. Nike is still Nike at the end of the day. They have other runners that are easy to cheer for so I haven't cut them out entirely.
4. Yes. I don't understand why someone would wear NOP gear right now. They're being investigated for doping and runners are distancing themselves from the group. Laura Muir got backlash for wanting to work with what a strength coach? I'm questioning if someone rocking their gear is doping themselves.
