Coldest run I went on was about -4F. I had an instant headache. It was brutal for the first mile, then everything warmed up and it was surprisingly tolerable.

I run 8 months a year and I xc ski competitively all winter and have gone down to -24F but honestly did that once. Once its under 0 I tend to do inside fitness
I haven’t really run in a few years. But I did a 1 mile charity run this winter. Temp was around -25 F, windchill below -30. Wore shorts because I didn’t pack clothes for it. The legs were ok but I was hacking a lung for hours after.
I also live in the twin cities. Coldest was -24 windchill. Several runs at colder than -10.
Was 7 degrees with 15-20 mph winds.
Don't know what the windchill was, I'll just say it was "f&%$ing cold as F$#%"
Also I ran Boston this year and will say "it wasn't that bad...", did most of my training in shite weather this winter.
I think in the 15-20 F range. On the coldest days of winter I waited for the warmest part of the midafternoon.
You guys are absolute wimps.
In Winnipeg it was below -20 Fahrenheit for literally weeks at a time (often -40F with the windchill).
I ran daily all winter. Hell, it was -10F just a few weeks ago!

Im sorry but canada just doesnt produce quality athletes like the us. Maybe you do run in the cold or whatever but i bet youre really slow and stupid. I bet you take photos of ice in your beard but i bet you run like 10 miles at a slow pace.
You guys are way tougher than I am.
I hate running below 60º.
Give me 75, 80º and I'm a pig in sh-t.
-42C, not including the wind chill
I think mine was -26f in Cross Lake, Minnesota, sometime right after Christmas, 6 miles.
I like running in the cold, if you dress right it’s fine and you kind of have the world to yourself, even in cities.

Our men and women seem to be doing OK in the NCAA!
You're not an idiot and you're not a dumba$$. You were competing in the bare legged division.
I live in New England, and we had a cold snap of 10ish consecutive days with an avg. high around 8-10 degrees. My team practiced at 9 AM throughout so I did around 8 or 9 runs in ~0 degree weather. Didn't even feel cold during the runs just after.
7 miles, 2 loops around a lake in longmont colorado. ....10 degrees, headwind of 25, in snowing conditions, a couple on ground already.......typical at least 3 times past winter
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
