They just said 4:22 for the first mile for the men.
Jesus Christ.
Stay calm. The first mile is downhill. Typical London opening mile.
4:23 3rd mile too (if BBC correct)
are the compression sleeve things a good idea in this weather? I guess he can always take them off, tbf.
Men going out stupid fast. What's with the pacers? No 2nd pace group?
Kietany 60-70m away from Dibaba

Looks like they're all just with the one group. Maybe they haven't noticed people dropping off? There was supposed to be a slower group though...
13:48 opening 5k for the mean's leaders
Who’s tracking kilometres? I don’t understand miles.
4th mile 4:37
13:48 in 5k, this is totally insane.
There was supposed to be a 61:00 half group and a 61:45 half group. But really there's just one group running 58:14 pace.
There are nine guys up there, including Farah.
No way Farah should be going out this fast, but the problem is if he drops off now there will be no one to run with. He dropped back about 20 meters a little while ago but when he saw he was going to be going alone, he sped up to join the lead pack again.

Oh shut up. They went out 15 seconds per mile faster than WR pace. You idiot.

There HAS to be some way to have the same number of commercials but keep the schdule flexible so we don't miss things like Dibaba falling behind the pace.
You mean to tell me we couldn't have the commercial break now instead of 4 minutes ago?
WEIRD seeing Mo having to solo the race unless he caught back up like he did
Keitany 1:03:50 at 20k. 2:14 pace
Where DNF 2:16 Galen?
