going to be carnage during the 2nd half! The heat has decimated the women Kietany will be lucky to break 2:20
Are the next two (Cherono & Kosgei ?) closing on her? How fast?

How is Farah seemingly screwing up every water station? I have to imagine the London organizers got something wrong since this isn’t his first rodeo.
You dolts, obviously the race hasn't laid out his sh!t correctly!!
Bekele showing up upfront for the first time.
Eliud looks good. Guy is such a beast.
Or just a smart tactic

I'm not necessarily against male pacers but I think this is kind of silly. At 20 miles the leader has two guys adjusting their pace exactly to stay with her and help her out, while anyone trying to catch her doesn't have that luxury. Are they going to run her all the way to the line?
I wonder if they should have to drop out by a certain point. I'm all for pacers when it's a WR attempt but now it's just impacting the race and I'm not sure how to feel about that.
Depends on if they're her personal pacers paid for out of her own pocket (or shoe sponsor's pocket), or if they're paid for by the race organizers.
If the latter they should switch to pace the new leader.
If the former, well, obviously the should stay with her.
From the outdated leaderboard, more likely Cheruiyot and Kosgei in second group.
Announcers got it wrong. Ghirmay Ghebreslassie (who just dropped out) was not part their predicted carnage from the crazy first 5K. He was in the 2:07 Group with two other Eritreans and Sam Chelanga.
choge and bekele is the race it will be an incredible last 15k

Well, his old teammate Rupp got "hypothermia" running for 90 minutes in race where other runners were outside for 3-4 hours (plus three hours before starting), so it is possible training with that weakling rubbed off on him in terms of feeling cold.
Concealing in-race blood doping ?
Good point. Hiding injection track marks from all of the illegally infused L-carnitine?
What’s happened to Cherono?

There are 3 bottles that are the same brand and colour as Mo’s, one on table 3, two on table 4.
He needed to make his cotton distinct! IDIOT.
Yea Paula was saying he needs to decorate it the day before the race.
5:42 21st mile for Keitany. She is hurting, and Vivian Cheruiyot in second has dropped Brigid Kosgei and has Keitany in her sights.
Viv looks amazing!

Crazy to have a PACEMAKER run a 61min half marathon. How many US guys could run 61mins all out right now for 13.1?
Not many at all. Welcome to Kenya.

Oh that's interesting, didn't know they could have personal pacers like that. Makes more sense if that's the case.
This is exciting! Mo and Bekele still there :)
Commentator said Cheruiyot broke away from Kosgei and closing on Keitani.
