I'm not necessarily against male pacers but I think this is kind of silly. At 20 miles the leader has two guys adjusting their pace exactly to stay with her and help her out, while anyone trying to catch her doesn't have that luxury. Are they going to run her all the way to the line?
I wonder if they should have to drop out by a certain point. I'm all for pacers when it's a WR attempt but now it's just impacting the race and I'm not sure how to feel about that.

Is Radcliffe talking garbage here?
She's claiming the pace makers should be slowing down to help Keitany not urging her to keep with them... Can that be right? Surely the pace makers can't actually assist her in trying to win the race only in running at their pre-agreed pace...
Also they would be told/paid to hit 25/30/35 in specific times.

He needed to have practiced this...clearly he hasn’t. Lack of experience showing.
How is Farah seemingly screwing up every water station? I have to imagine the London organizers got something wrong since this isn’t his first rodeo.
Kipchoge is looking great- the Master
Kipchoge for the WR!
Normally I would guess a 2:04 in these conditions after that blistering first half. But I could see Kipchoge hanging on to just nip the WR
Half marathon for the men.
That's the fastest first half in a marathon, ever (not counting Breaking2). We are going to see some carnage over the second half. It's now 70 degrees and sunny.

Wish they'd update the women's leaderboard. It still shows Tirunesh in 2nd.
going to be carnage during the 2nd half! The heat has decimated the women Kietany will be lucky to break 2:20

Could there be more of a contrast between Farah and Kipchoge in terms of demeanor and focus?
good point. Farah's performance is impressive so far, didn't expect him to hang on at this pace for that long. but Kipchoge is the marathon king for a reason. so smooth, incredible.
Kipchoge looking for the shade isn’t a good sign.
Crazy to have a PACEMAKER run a 61min half marathon. How many US guys could run 61mins all out right now for 13.1?
There are 3 bottles that are the same brand and colour as Mo’s, one on table 3, two on table 4.
