As Kevin Hanson pointed out on Twitter, the elite men hit 5k 26 seconds faster than they did at Breaking2.
13:48 is suicidal.

You know what? I take back what I just said about commercials.
You mean to tell me there was no way NBCSN couldn't cut a deal to show this race commercial-free? I've seen like a dozen commercials for Flex Tape and/or Flex Glue since this race started
I sawed this boat in half!!!! Woooooooo Doooggggggggggyyyyyyyy!!!!
Even BBC Red wastes time with camera coverage of (wheelchair) racers who are already finished, wandering around in the finish zone, when there is a race going on out there.

glad I got up at 5am in the morning for some excellent wheelchair race coverage.
agreed
Are the wheelchair racers allowed to wear aero helmets?

You mean the two minutes they took to show the winners?
Be fair man
Ouch, Mo's inexperience cause that?
28:19 for 10km for the Men. Mo in the group

Not unusual for London.
They screwed up the opening pace (way too fast) when Geoffrey Mutai had a chance at the WR, too.
Men at 10k. Kipchoge has looked pretty good and has been right behind the men's pacers the whole time.

At this pace not only do you not want to take a port a john break but you don't want to be stopping at drink stations and screwing up.

Yes, it was a great race in the men's, and the women's, too!
Also, the race started at 2am here on the west coast.

Farah took someone else's drink. Who did he just screw over?

End of men's race will be ugly. I don't understand how pacing gets so off. Don't they at least take mile splits as they run? Seems unprofessional. I'm all for a straight race, but why even talk about 61 vs 61:30 first half if you aren't even going to pay attention when the race starts?
Brilliant.
If we get guys hitting the wall in the last few miles and it becomes an exciting race for it then I'll all for it.
Bear in mind the first three miles of London are downhill, just like the suicidal first mile of Kawauchi's run in Boston was downhill.
Mo really animated there!
Mo farah just had a big word to someone on motorbike obviously not happy. His race is over! yelling at motorbike WTF

Does their race result deserve no recognition? David Weir is very popular here in the UK and he's done a lot for wheelchair racing popularity, aside from the fact that it was a great race.

Did Mo almost run into the media vehicle or something??
