Morceli, Cram, Guerrouj, Ngeny, and whomever else you think fits the bill race against each other, in their prime, on Hayward Field. With perfect conditions and pacers, who do you think wins and what time does it take?

Guerrouj takes it. Give him better conditions he gives you better time, but he is the one who takes it.
I think I'd vote for 2000 condition Ngeny. Morceli was insane too though but I don't think he could beat El G in a race with rabbits.
Are you crazy, Alan Webb would own them all.
Don't forget, when they finally go through with wiping the pre-2007 records, he will be the WR holder.
I get bullied a lot here, so I won't insult any of these great runners. I don't want to turn into the bully. They are all great runners. I think Bekele is the greatest. he was only 6 seconds off the 1500 world record(same as his epic marathon, 2nd fastest ever, and only 6 seconds off a wr).
Does Cram get to have EPO too?
Another troll post...

Consider this, as of April 2018:
Bekele 1500 (3:32.35), tied for 580th best performance
Bekele Marathon (2:03:03) is 2nd best performance
Geb 1500i (3:31.76), still 2nd fastest all time (and he has 3 total in top 10 still!)
Geb Marathon (2:03:59) former WR and 15th best all time.
Additional considerations: Geb first man under 2:04:30 and 2:04:00, both times without competition. Bekele has run exactly 2 good marathons (his first in Paris and the race in Berlin). If he hadn't had Kipsang pushing him all the way to the line, he would have run 2:03:03.

Cram, Coe, Ovett all probably running at least 6 seconds faster than they did if they had EPO to fuel them.

Knowing you, this isn't even a troll attempt.

You can´t compare indoor and outdoor performances, idiot.

Didn't Webb race in the pre-2007 era?

Great point. Only thing Webber was juiced on was pure hate.
With rabbits, El G takes it almost every time and guys like Lagat and Kiprop would be fighting for 2nd with Ngeny.
Without rabbits, could be anyone's race.
If they start ramping up 800 out, still go with El G... if they move at 400-600 or less, would be similar to the 2016 Olympics with several dudes running 50.x for the the last 400.

it's funny you mention Cram but not Lagat. Nick Willis has a faster pb
Lagat is the 2nd fastest ever 1500m runner
Kiprop is the 3rd fastest ever
Silas Kiplagat has a faster PB in the 1500m than Ngeny...
Andrew Wheating is 208th at 3:30.90
http://www.alltime-athletics.com/m_1500ok.htmEl G has 7 of hop 10 times. he's the best
El G takes it 998/1000 times.
The times he loses, someone (Morceli) trips him, or Ngeny outsprints him like 2000 Sydney.

You can, but in this case that isn't even what was being done. The illustration shows that relatively speaking, Geb ran a better 1500 than KB did.
Let me guess, you're one of those that think Cheserek's 3:49 second best time indoors in a mile is actually no big deal and has no relevance to an outdoor time, right?
GTFO talking about indoor times with relation to Geb and the 1500.
You do realize Edward Cheserek has the 2nd fastest ever indoor mile time right? That should tell you all you need to know about indoor rankings.

It's a great time, can't be used at all to gage his relative overall greatness in the mile discipline without looking at his outdoor times/placings.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
