please stop talking about his chances of winning. That is irrelevant.
The conversation should be about the practicality of him running well in London. His training build up was good for Boston but the weather stunk and the attrition rate was terrible. Yuki was an anomaly to perform well that day, not the rule.
Personally, unless Boston trashed him too hard, I think he should give London a shot. It’s a chance to use his fitness and mix it up with the best and maybe get that fast time he is probably capable of.
Will he win? Probably not, but it can’t hurt him to compete and race a fast race.
