Which shoe model did she use ?

Biwott said they are a prototype in-between 4% and regular flats. Brooks 2%?
Even my wife noticed they were peculiar looking and asked me about them.
Nike has now renamed the "4%" the "96%" because they suck so bad in less than ideal conditions.
No.
Biwott said they don't have a name yet. Knockoff version of the Vaporfly?
How long before these shoes are banned?
Did Desi cheat? Take away 2% does she still win?

Launch is not fast enough. Normally she has been racing in Hyperion, which is a very light racing flat.
The visibility was so bad yesterday that only what I saw was "Black shoes".
The stack height was larger than anything she has ever worn for sure. I will bet money they have a plate. Dathan most likely helped Brooks as he got to run in the vf prototypes. Everyone is figuring out th cushioning helps and the plate keeps you from bottoming out. You know they were trying not to draw attention to them as they didnt even put a brooks logo on it! At the Boston maarathon you dont put your logo on the shoe of your top runner? For a while, i thought they had painted a pair of VF so she wouldnt be at a disadvantage, but then I finally saw some closeup photos of them. Not anything brooks sells yet for sure.
Meanwhile people on here are saying the Vaporfly’s should be banned, and yet other companies are welcome to innovate their shoes to do the same thing. All Nike did was encapsulate a carbon fiber track plate in a new type of foam.

I want them. And I want them totally blacked out like that.
I don't believ that Desi would wear anything that gives her an advantage. She has mocked the 4% and tweeted things like the 4.5% advantage that her coffee provides is the only 4% that she can get behind.
Fascinating. That design is unlike anything Brooks currently sells.
Brooks has a link up on its main page for you to shop Desi's "go-to" gear. Hilarious that it doesn't include the shoes she wore when she ran the race.
The sole on the shoe is a design I don't recognize from Brooks at all.
Probably helped Des a lot as she is a heel-striker.
Between the shoes and the top she wore, Des' victory was a massive "W" for Brooks gear.
Ritz wore a similar looking model at the NYC half.
I agree on the instep but the "cloven" forefoot is similar to a bunch of their models over recent years.
That special Nike foam was soaking up water like a smamwow! -88% in the rain..
All black shoes are so gross and so awesome
Love black shoes!
