C'mon, Kawauchi!!!!
(Yeah, I know he's got no shot for the win, but I can hope).

Have they announced the men's halfway split on either broadcast? That happened 12 minutes ago. Have they announced it?
So Desi is in 2nd now?
Sage is getting rocked out there..
I've always maintained he is an average marathoner at best - good guy and talented athlete, just not built for the thon
kawauchi is looking very strong. He is the only one whos ran a marathon in these same exact conditions. DO NOT DOUBT THE RISING DRAGON!

Why do some runners have numbers like rupp and others have their names across their bib like Yuki kawauchi
Wish I had picked Desi in the contest. I'm liking her chances. Daska is out in front.
Desi is leading chase pack with Glady Chesir. Edna Kiplagat is a few meters behind hem.
Flanagan and Huddle are dropped from 2nd pack. If someone's going to win from 2nd pack in these conditions I'm liking Desi's chances.
So it looks like a 4 person race but they haven't hit hills yet and Des is a baller.
Kawauchi-san IKOUUUUUUUU!!!!

Linden is rocking it. Can everyone aplogize to her.
People were made we called it the "Fantastic Four". If she wins this, it's unreal.
No way she can hold it on.
How can the announcers have so little information? No word on where Flanagan or Huddle are. Don't they have spotters? They are just squinting at the background of the video feed to figure out where people are.

Who is in the men's lead group, and how far are the chasers? Who looks the easiest?
Sprintgeezer!
Rupp. Rupp looks easiest.
Is it me or does it seem like Kawuchi has a weird arm swing thing going on?
Kawauchi again!
No. Third.
Chesir is just ahead of her. Maybe 10 meters. They are in the Newton Hills.

+1
These conditions favor a smart pacing. Perfect for her.
