Ha, ha, haaaa! This race will hit the halfway point as one of the slowest paced in 20 years, no one will want to lead in that type of weather. Wait for it.
Calling it:
Near freezing temps with a 26 mph headwind. Pack will go out slow and stay tight. Just over the halfway point, the Africans will have gotten bored with the pedestrian pace and will take off. Flanagan will attempt to go, along with Huddle and Hasay. Desi will stay with the pack, burned out by the wind. With 10k to go, the Africans will have been long gone, leaving the race to the 3 Americans. Huddle outkicks Flanagan and holds on for the first American spot. Hasay surprises Flanagan and gives her a run for second.
Calling it did not do that badly. Except Flanagan and Huddle got burned out, and Desi went with the Africans. And Desi out ran everyone else.
