So im in track season and i only run 800 and my pr is a 2:11 ( irrelevant ) but season is about to end so i figured i should kick into xc training little early and to improve my endurance because im bad at 5k (pr 21:50 )
i went on a short run for 4 miles at 8:00 pace and somewhere around 2 miles i got a side stitch but i fixed it by focusing on my breathing and it slowly went away but still was there but i figure thats just the pain of running but then i got a sharp pain above my rib cage on the left side and i instantly had to stop and i dont know if this is another form of a stitch or if theres something physically wrong with me or am i just weak or?
Any tips or comments is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance
