Video of Paris finish:
Official (better) video of Paul Lonyangata and Betsy Saina arriving at finish at the same time.
I'd say the chick hung on quite well to the guy over the last 800m.
Full marathon can be seen here.
Betsy is training in iten not with Patrick sang anymore. Has her own small group.

Ms. Saina has a 10,000m PR of 30:07.78, which may be the clean World Record for female human runners on this planet.
Ms. Saina was finally able to run the entire marathon distance...in 2:23:55...which is not a really horrible marathon time.
However, it turns out that the training partners Ms. Amy Cragg and Ms. Shalane Flanagan...are still FASTER than Ms. Betsy Saina.

I am sorry about that.
I made the time of Ms. Saina 2:23:55 on purpose... instead of the correct time...because this is LetsRun.com...
You can always enjoy the accurate numbers at LetsRun.com.
The group of Betsy includes Nike athletes, such as Gladys Chesir and Yasmin Can, followed by Renato Canova and John Litei. The Nike group for men includes the winner of Berlin HM (Erick Kiptanui, 58:42), Daniel Kipchumba (pacer of Kiptanui), Josphat Boit (brother of Jonathan Maiyo, 2:04:56 in marathon), Noah Kipkemboi (60:52), Victor Chumo (60:10) and few track runners leaded by Ronald Kwemoi (currently injured). Betsy started her training with this group in November, immediately after her NY marathon DNF, with the motivation to understand if could become a good marathon runner in the future, after the failure in Tokyo and NY.

Paul Longanyatta crosses the line just ahead of an exhilarated Betsy Saina and Letsrun favourite Matthew Kisorio. What close finishes for the both the men's and the women's.

Salve Allenatore! ?
i am disgusted that kisorio is allowed to compete.
all dopers shud have a 5 min disadv the first 3 years after they return to comp.
At some point he looked like he had an actual shot at winning, which would’ve been a disaster.

At least he had some sort of punishment. The others around him may also be doping and none of them have ever been punished in any way. Doping is just not policed properly in sports; it would almost make sense to make it legal if the current situation continues.

Matthew Kisorio is on the April 2016 Atypical ABP list.
Rita Jeptoo can compete in marathon races to win MONEY on Oct. 30 2018.

It would have been awful if he had won.
I was on the course just by the 19 mile marker and booed Kisorio as he came past with the lead pack. Lonyangata turned to look back, seemingly puzzled as to why I was booing, and then at the finish was all pally with Kisorio. Do they not realise when people are busted for doping, or do they just not care?

Well, he served his time and returned. No point in booing him. Blame the system. I was of the same opinion regarding Gatlin being booed at the worlds in London. If you don't want these people to compete again, ban them for life.
