My impression is that the British Press doesn't like their British athletes -- they want their best to be second best.
Why is that rekrunner?...you live in the UK, don't you?

What? Nobody on here calls NOP Hasay a doper?
3:55 Muir is only suddenly dodgy?
You must be new here, name thief.
No not a name thief. But Hasay has some serious lovers on here and she is always at this PACE gym and she runs 2:20, that's a spicey hot sauce time, the same as Jemima Sumgong's best, and honestly I haven't seen many fingers ? pointed at her. It is always Salazar, Mo and Rupp. My radar was raised with Hasay, she obviously does 120 mpw (which isn't surprising for a distance runner), really hard rep sessions both long and short and she is impressive in the weights room, she is there all the time lifting heavy weights right up to a key race. Her recovery rates must be truly spectacular. You're right about 3:55.
Nobody is going to pick on the American golden girls. Coburn, for example, has run fast times and medaled at the Olympics, but no one picks on her. It always seems to be pick on Laura Muir. The lass is very fast - no question there, but so is Coburn, Hasay, Simpson and Co. ☝️ So, if you're going to point the finger at Laura you better look at your own lasses.
Aye......

How is it that Muir considers speaking to McHenry to help her form via video link and she is suddenly dodgy but Hasay sees him like every other day and nobody on here calls her a doper.
Nobody is seriously calling her a doper. What they are calling her on is the perception of hypocrisy. A month ago she was calling out Genzebe Dibaba for her "associations" advising she doesnt speak to her as a result. -Its an extremely poor decision to professionally align yourself with any individual who has links with NOP after such a statement.
British athletes, pundits, and fans have a reputation for hypocrisy and it for this reason she is being hounded.
Hill Run, I think that Muir who has a quicker 1500m best than Hassan and has often beaten her, doesn't view her or NOP as cheaters (though the Fancy bears data shows otherwise). But since Hassan moved to NOP her 800m has dropped to 1:56 so Muir obviously wants to improve her sprint speed because she loses Majors because of her sprint.

My impression is the opposite. Rekrunner only thinks so because they once dared to criticize his wife.
I guess negative press sells better. I do not live in the UK, but on the continent.

Paula, Mo, Coe, Bradley Wiggens, Chris Froome, and Team Sky, and now Laura Muir.

That's a swanky place. I thought at one time rekrunner made reference to living in Peree where watched the TdF a time or two, but I could be mistaken. ?
Ha ha, no. I did go there once, many years ago, and lost 500 French Francs in a casino.

I have seen a few stages over the years in person, including the finish in "Peree", but never lived there. I stood at the finish line in 1993 in Verdun, witnessing live the first stage win of Lance, but never lived there.
