Heat 3 was a rare negative split in the 800m. Went out in 54.42, finished in a bit under 53 for the leaders. Kenyan Kitilit in 1:47.27, Jake Wightman in 2nd. Should be a cracking final.

Amos looked great in the heats. I expect him to cruise to gold in the final, but you never know in the 800...

Right. Kinyamal looked really good as well. Who knows, if the final goes out stupid fast, one of the guys that finished well for 2nd in the heats could poach the win on the homestretch.
Sage Watson sighting in 400m hurdles. Omg...no words.
HAHAHA
At least Bekele and Geb didn't have such little talent to lose to guys who get lapped in the Olympics before/if they started doping. I'm sorry but Mo is pathetic.
So, in the "random" DL events he didn't race any Kenyans in one, and raced only one I'd listed in the other? You're not helping your argument at all.
That kind of seemed you were completely wrong, no? I remember him beating Aman, Rotich, and Rudisha in Monaco a few years ago when he ran that 1:42. Seems like he beats the best Kenya has to offer more often than not.

Dude, he didn't even win that race. He's won about three or four international races his entire career. What are you on about?
I love watching these bulky decathletes jog the 1500m.

Lol. He beat all your vaunted Kenyans, that's what it's about. Are you lost? I do believe he has won at least a dozen international races. That's more than any of the names you mention other than Rudisha.

Whatever, man. I still maintain he'd be eliminated in the semis of a Kenyan trials because there are at least a dozen Kenyan runners currently better than him. Not taking away from his becoming world champion, though.
Women's 400m in 3 semis. Amantla Montsho in the 1st.
No gold medals for Kenya yet. They're behind even Bermuda so far. Can they win the 1500W?
1500m in decathlon in 4:30?!?!!? have Year 8 student (13 years old) who runs 3 days a week run 4:21! Watching one of them run 5:07 is just plain embarrassing.
Men's 400m coming. Isaac Makwala may be a showboat but I'm rooting for him after the treatment he got in London. Go Makwala!
1-2 for Botswana as Makwala wins 44.35 finally winning a major title. Bravo! And he's surprisingly restrained, no press-ups this time.

"That's ten runners right there, meaning Bosse and Langford would struggle to make the final at a Kenyan trials."
Do you still stand behind this ridiculous statement? (regarding Bosse).

The golds will come towards the end of the week. Winny Chebet, the only one capable of challenging Semenya for the 1500mW got tripped and won't be in the final. Hoping steeplechaser Beatrice Chepkoech can get a medal.
Play by play on the womens 1500m would be nice. My usual live stream is blocked.

He did push-ups after the finish.
