While walking around New Orleans it's easy to understand why the city is below sea level. I've never seen so many obese people in one place.
Any update on the collapsed 10 year old 'Garrison' of this generation?

27:28 doesn't shout doper. 9:58, 3:28, or 14:25 for a woman is a better example of doped up times.

Nenow of course backed up that run with a similar time on the track. Robertson will not.
Robertson of course backed up that run with an impressive time in the marathon. Nenow did not.
Nenow wasn't trying to be a marathoner.
Anyone know why Lagat's time was so bad? He just ran a half marathon at 29:30 10k pace, but here only 30:23? Did he try going with Robertson the first 5k?
Castille, questionable? Is this an underhanded attempt to cast doubt about how he achieves his times? If so, as SO MANY LR POSTERS BEFORE YOU HAVE DONE, provide evidence of cheating/PED's. I'm sure USATF and his comp would be interested in your info.

It was likely a harder course. The course in Valencia was pretty flat, plus it was a bigger field to pull him along. Also he could have still been recovering somewhat from it. He's getting up there in age dude.
Different Bernard Lagat. Same name.

I looked over the results, and I am not sure if this is correct, but apparently an 11-year-old boy ran 34 minutes. I think that's way more impressive than a 10-year-old girl running 41 minutes.
Was just coming here to say that is a different Lagat. He’s 23 as apposed to his 20 year older famous name sharing former world champion.

You're referring to Bernard Kibet Lagat (DOB 12/15/1994), not Bernard Lagat (12/12/1974). The former ran 28-mid at Azalea Trail Run 10k last weekend and was a late entrant. The latter would have ruined Kevin Castille's day, most likely, had he been in attendance.

There's a lot of truth there. The problem is that the people doing the tests for the most part aid in covering things for East Africans. Westerners and Asians (like the Japanese) do not get the same treatment. There's a lot of talent in E. Africa, but remove the PED use and well over 60% of their top level runners, the ones earning some money, would be gone. Maybe more.

Notice how the same posters are scared to go after E. Africans - even the E. Africans who have been caught? Not a single one of them is smart enough to question themselves about their knee-jerk, Pavlovian behaviors. They're good little sheeple.
Iveen Chepkemoi is fiiiiine!!!!

No one from New Orleans would say it was humid this morning. Fairly cool (low 60s), good conditions. Wind not much of a factor, probably a little bit of help. Not perfect conditions, but better than average for the race IMO.
The 10-year-old girl actually ran even faster last year (41:15).
Also, an 11-year-old boy is listed as running 34:40.
Weather was as nice as it’s been since 1999-2000. The first mile wasn’t as windy as it usually is.
You call that nice weather? Dear God. It was like running inside of someone's mouth.

Fun daybout there. Humid coming from Santa Monica but not bad at all.
I too about ran over the 10 year old. What was with all of her sprints in the corral? Was she prepping to run to 400m?
But hope she's okay. Way too much pressure on her. And daddy didn't seem to reel her in any.
Daddy was drunk. It's a NOLA parenting technique.
If Rupp was in this race, would Jake have beaten him?

Well Mr "askerer of questions" there are two possibilities, (1) Rupp wins but has to run quite fast to do it c27:15 or Jake wins and Alberto lodges some protest to get him disqualified.?

Hey Rico. Thought you would run faster, being the best runner in the state and all. Looks like an old man beat you by a mile?
