No.
I have a small car and pull all the way in so that the cars parked next to me don't clip me when they crank their wheel as they're backing out. I don't have much confidence in other peoples ability to drive.
If you don't know why people back into spots, especially bigger vehicles, you're not a very good driver.
FedEx, UPS & DHL teach their drivers to back into parking places. I think they know more than you. It's safer to pull straight out into traffic than to back out.
Of course it requires some common sense when and how to back into a spot. There are certain situations when it is NOT advisable to back in. Narrowness of the road, the number of cars on the road etc. A good driver knows when to back in or when to pull straight in.

Because you can't. Anyone can make outlandish claims without backing them up.

Oh, I see strong brain muscles.
Why isn't your pick up pink, bruh?
I back in for the sake of practice. Otherwise I would almost never do it.
Park like Batman. Batman never backs out of the bat cave. Ever
Because you might as well get the reverse part out of the way as soon as you can. Do you eat your ice cream before the main dish as well?
Also it's not as safe reversing in those useless minivans and suv's people are obsessed for these days. No rear visibility whatsoever.

You are aware that minivans and SUVs have backup cameras just like trucks, right?

Big pet peeve of mine when there are a good number of cars behind a car that decides to back in to a spot. If nobody is behind that car, that's fine but too many times I see it with a good number of cars behind them and this causes a nice little jam behind them.
I have seen write ups that it is safer when pulling out. Pull out in forward versus reverse is safer.
It seems like people of Asian descent do this a lot.
Is it a Hong Kong thing?
I never really want to be wherever I'm going. Backing in makes me feel a little better about whatever bull**** I'm about to do because it means I can zoom right the **** out of there. And I have a tiny car and back ALL THE WAY IN, mother*******!

At 40-something I have probably backed out of a parking spot over 10,000 times without getting hit. Is that a thing that happens?
Why do people drive around looking for the closest spot.
In a large vehicle or a small spot, backing is much easier. Some lots are also very poorly designed and offer little room for the wide turn sometimes required to park front in.
Either wait for me to back in, or wait for me to make a 3-5 point turn going front in. The former will be quicker.
And yes, parking lots are pretty common places for accidents, fyi. Saw an old guy get backed into recently walking to his car.
Also, why do people often tailgate in parking lots?
These people with there “it’s easier when you have a big truck to back in...” herp, derp!!! Get a smaller car then morans and stop compensating for your small wangs. There is no need for a massive F150 or F250 in a city and in most rural areas (where having such a large truck is resonable) there are not enough people to worry about backing into someone when leaving a spot. Backing in is stupid and done mainly by brain dead paranoid types that think they may need to get away quickly because they think they are super secret agents that everyone is after. These are the same type of folks that “NEED” to own assault rifles and handguns. Basically wannabe tough guys compensating for multiple insecurities.

I have a friend that had his tiny smartcar totaled by an unknown driver, doing exactly what you wrote. Now, his pegged-leg a$$ walks to work!
