The sooner they're out of business the better.
The forecast for race time is 65 degrees, 52 dew point, and a 1 mph wind, which are awesome conditions.
What section is Gwen in?
She’s in the elite section. I think she wins, running 31:18.
For the record I, too, am picking her for the win.
Looks like she'll be debuting her BTC singlet at the race. That being said, she likely has a rabbit in teammate Carrie Dimoff, who i think should be able to pace for sub 31:30 for at least the first 2 miles.
30:53
on pace for about 32:00 after 8 laps (10:15ish)
Dimoff is behind Jorgensen
15:25 at 3mi
gwen takes the lead at 5k
16:04 5k split.
20:29.9 at 6400 (nearly 4mi)
now just Gwen, Karissa, then Carrie Dimoff
25:37 Karissa now leads Gwen with Carrie sitting. (8k)
1200 to go, karissa falls back

Maybe faster if Karissa goes out hard, but I don't see that happening as she tends to make moves later in the race. Will be interesting to see these two duel it out if they are with each other towards the end... Though to be honest I'd bet on Gwen because of the experience.
10 seconds off darn, she ran 31:55. It was a great race to watch though!
