Looks like she is in for Barkley Marathon - thoughts on if she will finish?
I'll start:
Absolutely not. She will quit after 1-2 loops... she hasn't even run a 100 miler yet and she is used to running 50K's on buffed out trails.
Those rugged east coast trails with snow will eat her alive
Seems legit to me...but not sure the BM is an obstacle race
Her toughness is well known, but I think she'll DNF. Her fitness isn't quite there yet. Hope I'm wrong, though.

Barkley isn't about running. And hasn't she competed in 24-hour-long OCR events? That's probably tougher than most 100 milers.
What about her makes you think she is going to be the first women to ever finish Barkley?

She's hot.
I hope so does and I will be the first to congratulate her on here if she does.
But 60 hours in the Tennessee backcountry, on unmarked trails, with no GPS, is a different beast than a 24 hour obstacle race.
and she has the right last name for that neck o the woods

Megan Hicks would kick the Barkley Marathon in the ass if she entered. That lady is a beast.
Does she really have no tonails? Why?

She’s just doing it for the attention.
If Courtney Dauwalter has the orienteering skill, she would have a good chance.
2 loops would be a pretty big success for Amelia.
If she were to do "just" two loops - would that increase her status? I mean, it would be amazing to finish the race, but finishing two loops is pretty remarkable.
I predict no one will finish this year.
