Why would anyone pay $2+ for an energy bar, when they can get a box of 12 for $1+/bar?
I've since switched to Clif Bars, which maybe taste better and cost comparably or a little more (but cheaper than Picky Bars or other smaller brands). Was it a taste issue? It's like Powerbar completely fell off- no longer at events, dropped their longtime elite program, removed themselves from Running Warehouse, and dropping longtime standard products. It's heartbreaking cause their gels and bars worked for me for a long time. I thought they'd be around forever! It's like a major shoe brand completely dissolving.
