Hall has 'it'...he's going to be a superstar.
Team battle is super tight. Unfortunate that VT doesn't have anybody in the 3000m (or anything else). They are still second. Houston is doing very well. Can't recall them doing so well in the past.

Announcers just made an interesting point about two downhills and an uphill.
Is possible some lanes have a different elevation difference than other lanes? That seems wildly unfair to me, no?
In the inner lanes, they have to run further on the curve and run on the uphill part of the first turn, while the outside lanes start further up the curves and don't have to run the uphills. Outside lanes are basically going downhill on the first turn. Seems like a huge advantage to me, especially with this Texas A&M track that have a pretty steep incline for an indoor track.

Of course it’s unfair, and it’s been acknowledgeD for quite some time now. It’s the reason the 200 m is no longer competed at USATF and IAAF championships.
Will there be a CR in the women 200m. I assume so. Three women have a shot at it.
0.01 off in the slow heat
What, Ashley Henderson, 22.41, 1/100 off the collegiate recrod.

...and Henderson was not on my list of three.
There we go...
You get a collegiate record and you get a collegiate record and you get a world record and you get a collegiate record
This track is insane.
Also think Irby and McLaughlin are tired from running the 400m an hour ago.
Gabrielle Thomas. I'm in love.

Looks like Florida will be taking the lead after the TJ. Have they ever won indoor NCAA? This super tight battle will surely lead to an unusual winner.
this mens 3000 is gonna be a huge disappointment compared to the sprints.
Georgia has locked up the women's championship.
Arkansas is going to finish as the women's runner up.
Why is Ben Saarel soaking wet?
I know right?! An hour wasn't efficient time for this. It also kind of bothers me when people keep saying that they were upset, stunned or devastated. They are in high pressure situations (freshmen). Its kind of booing them for their performances when they say stuff like that. Hopefully it doesn't' get into their heads.
I'm not a sprinter so never even thought about this but this is so insane to me.
all 4 heats of that final looked like the same story: lanes 5 & 6 start out fast (hugely downhill) then on the first half of the second turn it looks like they're starting to come back and then lanes 5 &6 come roaring down the hill and go 1&2.
I'm looking up the results to see if my hunch is totally accurate but if so, then this whole event seems invalid. Am I blowing this out of proportion?
Someone who's better at math would really help but a couple inches of difference of elevation would seem to make a huge difference over the course of a race this short. I wonder what the equivalent would be in a marathon?
time for larry to blabble about running in lane 3
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Jakob Ingebrigtsen has a 1989 Ferrari 348 GTB and he's just put in paperwork to upgrade it
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
