The analogy was bad. However, one of these is not like the other. You're just trolling for posts and I'm falling for it.
No matter how you look at it, the situation and accusations are worse for Aden than Salazar. EPO versus L-Carnitine (or even androgel). One athlete (Driouch) that tested positive and saying specifically it was Aden while the others you have what may be disgruntled runners/employees making accusations with no positive tests.
Operation Puerto has shown Spain is not concerned with finding the truth. The fact that nothing has come of the Aden raid out of Spain means pretty much nothing. Look at 3:50 and 8:16 has someone else has pointed out. Rupp has had some great times but not other worldy times. Neither did Farah for that matter.
I want to say up front I know the argument "never tested positive" only holds nominal value. However, I would like to know how many tests on average an Aden athlete has versus someone like Rupp and Farah. A large amount of negative tests make me feel better than someone that is rarely if ever tested, specifically because it means someone is trying to keep an eye on them.
I do think NOP use technology to go right up to the line of legality, but there is nothing wrong with that. It's sort of like auto racing where there are hard limits on every facet but people try to find the "grey zone" to eke out an advantage. The types of things like "well it doesn't say not to" or "this is not specifically addressed so..."
