Weird, what happens in Westminster-type Parliamentary systems is that they have say 10 different Parliamentary select committees with say 120 members across the lot and membership is allocated according to size (just like Congress) but with one difference, the ruling party, in this case the Conservatives, will dominate finance/expenditure and regulatory committees so that key legislation is passed more swiftly thus leaving less important committees like Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to be controlled by the opposition.
select committees have no role in passing legislation they report that each department does. that what the report is doing hence why it does not go into detail seb coe behavior apart from saying his evidence stretched credibility because they have no authority over the iaaf they do however have over ukad british athletics and british cycling.
