Everyone relax, I'm here, guys!
Great run by Okolo! And great comeback for Wimbley on the home straight.

What a move by Okolo! That is how you run indoors, but she is a seasoned indoor runner. So she is right at home
what a run!

Windle pushed Giles. Hissan did nothing
Are track fans particularly poor and litigious? JG Wentworth is pushing hard
Giles ran into the back of Windle and got an elbow for it. The "push" was barely half way in the race and definitely didn't hurt Giles kick with how slow the field was going. Giles was clearly intending to go wide regardless of the elbow. They went through in 55s. I hardly doubt he expended much extra energy jogging back into the field.
even letsrun is pushing the narrative that Windle got DQed to give the Brits a medal... great journalism there guys
I'm calling it now. Laura Muir will take 4th but top 3 will get dq'ed and the Brit's will finally have a gold
Are you going to cry and moan about everything. Jeez, you’re painful.

Or hell, Farah last year in the 10k?
I was glad Farah wasn't DQd but come on he stepped inside the rail on the last lap while looking over his shoulder.
All LM needs to do is put herself in a victim situation and she will get the GOLD.
They only showed slow mo to try to justify the DQ. Here it is in real speed. There is zero chance anyone raises a yellow flag on this in real time. I want to know are people doing this in real time or are they allowed to go back and slow mo replays.

Well, it's hard to argue with them. That's a garbage DQ. This entire meet has been a flaming pile of garbage. Visa problems, mass DQ's for lane violations, and now this. People come on these boards and defend the DQ's resulting from lane violations, as if they can't see how effing stupid it is for one step on the line to result in a DQ. Wanna know what the only coverage of this meet that I saw on ESPN was? The 400m heat that wasn't, because of all the DQ's. Now we get Windle getting tossed for protecting his position when Giles's dumba$$ ran right into him.
I, for one, am done following this meet. It's a complete effing mess, and anybody who says otherwise is kidding themselves.
SO here are my questions.
1) Are the fouls being called in real time or can they use replay?
2) What nationality is the person who called the foul?
Great final 200 by Windle. The DQ sucks and I hope it gets challenged but knowing this meet it will probably stand. :(

What a joke. That was just standard racing. The Brit started it and Windle responded. Might as well tape their arms to their sides.

you realise that its been appealed and no brits are on the jury panel in accordance with 'Members of the Jury of Appeal shall not be present during any
deliberations of the Jury concerning any Appeal that affects, directly or
indirectly, an athlete affiliated to his own National Federation. The chair
of the Jury shall ask any member implicated by this Rule to withdraw, in
the event the Jury member has not already done so. The IAAF or the
relevant governing body shall appoint one or more alternate Jury
members to substitute for any Jury member(s) who are not able to
participate in an Appeal' even Michael Johnson said it was fair
The only good thing about this meet today is New Zealand's Pole Vaulter

Okay Trump.
Spanish dopers are back.
How jaded him I. Whenever I see a guy I've never heard of rock it (400m this case), I think, "Test him now."
Holy cow. Did anyone expect this Spaniard to win? A championship record too. Absolutely stunning. I don't think he expected anything close to that performance. Good for him.
And on the 8th day, God created the women's pole vault.
