I know Webb is just barely past his prime by a few months. But when he ran his 346 mile, the lightest spike in the world was the nike zoom miler at 4.8 ounces. Since then, we now have the zoom victory at 3.1 ounces.
Really people. If this flywire space age technology existed 4 years ago, Alan Webb would have ran under 342.
Is it a stretch to say his triathlon training has given him a good base, and now he can get a pair of victories and at least better his own or and get down to 344 or 345?
Damn you nike for inventing these so late in history.
