I know barely anything about her, but I was able to hear what she was saying in her interview. She said, "I want to give myself time to get where they are now." Now YOU can take that to mean a lot of things if you feel the need to bash someone, but all that means is she moved there in September (or at least announced it then) and as she states, she has not adjusted to the training yet. She does not mention how long she feels (or anyone else feels) that it will take. Based on my experience in distance running it might take two more months of one whole track season, but SHE does not say this.
You might notice that GRACE took a very close 2nd in the Wanamaker Mile to Colleen Quigley in 4:30.08, and Colleen was a close 2nd in this National Championship race. Infer what you want from that. The ALL-CAPS are my way of talking slow for you.
