TCU - Hands down
TCU - Hands down

Knew two XC coaches from TCU. Know how much money they had to work with? Books. That’s it’s. They had a Kenyan guy who was pretty good there a little while ago that got money, but it took a lot of convincing. They are basically a team comprised of walk ones competing against all the other Texas schools. UTRGV gives out more money than them on the distances.
Almost all power 5s are fully funded, and a lot of mid Majors are now as well.
TCU is not the worst, by any means. I have to agree, they are lack luster in distance but from what I hear they have no funding for distance runners. They are fairly respectable in other event areas.
Pan Am has the same amount of scholarships as they do (if fully funded), but I would wager most schools in Texas, excluding A&M are putting more scholarship dollars into distance than TCU.

How about Clemson, Boston College, Wake Forest and Miami? Do they fund distance at all?
The question was regarding fully funded programs, not distance squads. That is the point. Schools choose to distribute their scholarships differently.
If you are going to name those schools in the ACC, then why don't you name Notre Dame, UNC, Duke, Pittsburgh?
He did have the 2 worst finishers listed from 2017 outdoor ACC meet as Miami and Wake Forest. I was surprised that Notre Dame was 12th so you have a valid point.

That is all that my xc team had to work with as well. And we were much better than TCU!
