I know!! He is so good an just killing it this indoor competing with the best of D-1. I dont pretend to be his buddy or anything, but I've talked to him a couple times and he is a really cool and friendly guy too.
He seems like a classy dude. Scroll down to question 13 of his TSR interview. Nice response
https://www.thestridereport.com/blog/mr-501Is he LetsRun's next Cam Levins? His best 3000m as a junior was 8:13.
He only needs to get down to 3:56 mile, 7:45 and sub 13:20 in the next 4 months.
Kudos to both of you for still running in college at the age of 25. Must be quite the rush beating 18-20 year olds and running the same times you ran in high school.
I have know David a long, long time. He is currently 6 ft 2" approximately. He weighed around 90 lbs as a HS Freshman and about 117 lbs 5' 9 " at graduation. Training was appropriate in HS with him still growing!
This indoor mile is going to be great to watch, looks like everyone hates each other good and proper this year. Nice work guys. Good to see D2 going back to the rivalry filled glory days. Where the rules are made up and the age dont matter, and everyone gets in fights after the race.

High school prs:

1500- 4:10 (4:27ish mile)

Elise Cranny also had a 4:10 PB in HS. Now her PB is 4:09.
Ribich improved more in College.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
