It’s so sad. In the future our olympic trials/teams will look and consist of a Kenyan squad! SAD!

Where's your family from?
Don't forget his season last year was cut short by injury (probably by overracing for years) so he had to get over that and then get in shape again.
Ches has been putting up insane times since he enrolled at St. Benedicts...what was that, 8 years ago? He's improved every year from my memory.
This shouldn't be surprising yet to some it is. So much energy was wasted accusing him of being too old.
No one is too old for this!!!!! Always rooted for this kid and cant wait til he wears RED WHITE AND BLUE.
HUNGRY DOGS RUN FASTER!!!
It's good to be the king! Expect Great Things! Edward is a yuge President Trump supporter. We as a nation of immigrants would love to see Edward race under the red, white, and blue.
Ches runs with fire and fury. I'll be buying my first pair of Sketchers soon.
Keep a clean nose, don't hang around the fire hose. D. Boon is dead, and not getting any better, I suppose. Ed from Ohio came west, but went back east. Kenya still has tribal conflicts, just like Republicans and Democrats. Ed from Kenya likes it out west.
It's been mild winter in Flag, wonder if Ed has run across Jim Walmsley or is he still injured? Western States 100 is only six months away and it's not getting any shorter.
I hope Ed keeps healthy, and my tight Achilles and sore feet are only temporary distractions.
M.A.G.A.
Team Europe Western Hemisphere just sounds more natural.
Has Ches talked about which event he'll run at World Indoors? He should go for the 1.5/3k double if the schedule allows.
2nd fastest all time. One would think that would take a toll. To turn around the next day and effortlessly run a 3km turning on the jets like he did - really.
Rewind... 2nd fastest all time = drugs.
Who is Roberts coach?

Why isn’t Rojo going to great lengths to bash Ches on this thread? Is it because his theory that indoor and outdoor miles are equivalent is absurd? Or perhaps after the 3k he realizes Ches can very fast and 3:49 Indoors wasn’t even 100% effort so he deserves more credit than Rojo is willing to give.
Except that he’s trying to stray from international competition because of IAAF rules around transfer of allegiance... I wonder if he’ll join the US Army Team???
But America is the melting pot and
Land of Opportunity. King Ches did grow up here and go to college in the US, so his he truly Kenyan??
Rojo what’s the explanation for this today? Does it have anything to do with him being to old in hs?

I hope he will. It bugs me that many top pros don't care about indoors. Seems like a waste for Ches to not do World Indoors while hes in great shape, especially with no outdoor championships this year.

He wants to run for the USA eventually and if he represents Kenya in anything he will have to sit out some waiting period. That's why I don't think he will run it, otherwise he would.

That makes sense. Do you know how long the waiting period is? A year like 2018 would be a good time to start it.
