No indoor WC standard for Jakob
Is he trying again next weekend?
So they both just missed qualifying for worlds?
Well, at least it's an indoor PB for Jakob, so that trip was not 100% for nothing.

Probably on the same state-sponsored doping program that the xc skiers are on. Norway is dirty.

It's very difficult to run a 'state sponsored' doping program in a country with a lot of freedom such as Norway.
All it would take is one disgruntled athlete or coach, and they could sell their story for much more money than they ever got from competing.
You wonder why someone hasn't come forward yet.
He is running another 1500 in France on tuesday.
Doping in Norway is of course a possibility, but not a state-sponsored program.
We are not in East Germany.

He would do much better at 3000m at indoor WC. Why doesn't he go for a fast 3000m instead?

You do realize that in Norway the whole Olympic sports system is run by the state, right? Asking for a friend that doesn't understand WTF you're doing.
I am fully aware of this.

Then read up on the details of this story. This is state-sponsored doping, unless your definition is "unless it's the Russians, it's not state-sponsored."
I did watch the documentary.
