Yeah, Fancy is a bit bulky and some uneconomical form up at the front. Crazy even pacing so far, well under W.R. pace

I thought Fancy Chemutai was a male pacemaker.
I also wonder how these women run so fast with such horrible form.
Because they don't have terrible form. They are very mobile and relaxed. You aren't supposed to look like a robot when you run like every American runner. You cannot simultaneously be rigid and mobile.
Both races out fast
15:13 5k split for the lead women. Joyciline Jepkosgei, Fancy Chemutai, Mary Keitany, and Caroline Kipkirui are the lead group, with Kipkirui 2 secs down on the other three at the 5k split. But when they show the lead group again, they're all still together.
Thank goodness no American women in this. 2 packs at 7K, one at 64:20 pace, the other at 64:55 pace!! Unless one of our ladies wanted to run a 5K p.r. and then drop out.
Haha nobody else has noticed the women's rabbit?
Or maybe even run a 30:45 10K and get a huge p.r.
How bout just one thread?

Race is nearly all Kenyans plus Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia for the men. Women are pretty much 100% Kenyan.
Dubai Marathon = Ethiopian. RAK Half = Kenyan.

Well Hutchings gave it away.....Ezekiel Kemboi ladies and gents.
Women run first slow K in 3:07! Men also incredibly evenly paced.

You know there are two Ezekiel Kembois, right? The guy rabbitting this race is not the famous steepler.

I've merged them into 1.
Nearly perfect pacing at 10k for women. WR alert.
Thank you, Sir.
How many American women have ran under 30:35 for a 10k on the track?

Exactly, would have been embarrassing. Tiny women's field at the start. Maybe 12? If you weren't capable of running a 66:30 1/2, you weren't on the start line. 15K will be under 46:00!!

Only Mary seems efficient.
