Boris is just getting used to opening his first 400m at his customary pace. The second 400m will drop in the near future.

I find nothing wrong with doing this. His speed endurance is obviously not there yet.

Mechal isn't a pushover, they should not let him have that big of a gap.

Hagos should have went faster sooner and tried to put the hurt on Cheserek. Crazy result from Ches though after last night!!! Wish Chelimo had been in this race. Wanna see him vs. Ches at 3k.

Wow that felt like I was watching Ches kick away from little boys in the NCAA again, but this time it was against some studs. Cool stuff.

Cheserek isn't winning any fans looking over his shoulder every 3 steps.

Seriously though... if he was right behind you a second ago, and you haven't made a move yet, do you need to check again? And then again?

I think Brazier would’ve gotten the record if Berian didn’t run a slow 3rd lap. It took Brazier a little too long to notice Berian was slowing down.

No, he just "wins fans" - whatever that means - by running 3:49 and 7:38 on consecutive nights. Cheers.

Jenny's win was impressive. It reminded me of her 5K win in US Championships at Drake. So much speed in the final 400.

So much pain in Mechal's face at the end.

I was there. The bear jumped on his back and dug his claws. He's obviously doesn't have enough training yet to be in the mix.
