Let's calm down and snap up our britches. Let Korir break 1:44 indoors we starting going nuts about the indoor record. He did look very impressive, though.

8K times are of no relevance to ones' performance in the 800m and below, maybe for 1500m. Both of their 8K times are good indication they both have very good endurance. As for who is better between Saruni and Korir over the 800m, I think statistically Korir is miles above. His first race time in 2018 is almost a second faster than Saruni's, which was the third race of 2018 for him. Maybe eventually Saruni might catch up and beat Korir but for now, our winner is Emmanuel Korir.

Every year it seems some dingalings start ejaculating all over themselves over some African thats imminently going to break the WR. Each time it doesn't pan out.
