But you did just offend every other gal on Bowerman AC; all of them. When anyone begins with "no offense" you can pretty much guarantee they are going to offend.
Bowerman vs Bowerman at a second rate meet is not a big deal. Grace has the same problem Martinez has. They're good, but not quite fast enough to compete with the best 800 runners. The obvious move is to move up to 1500, but neither of them have the tactical sense for that race -- they race the 1500 like an 800.

Very good observation. Contrast with Rowbury and Simpson, both of whom are tepid in the 800 but have seriously good 1500 racing chops. I don't think it is the 5000 strength factor either, as Brenda is quite strong on road 5Ks. There is a tactical mental element to top-level 1500s that is unique.
