I am a HS Junior. 4:24i and 16:50. I train 6 days a week and stay active on the 7th. Today, my long run day, it is lightly drizzling and cold... parent is threatening to not let me run because it's "terrible conditions, you can't just run every day even when it's bad conditions out"
We have had arguments like this in the past. How can I convince her that she is flat out wrong, that me running 6 days a week is not abnormal (yeah, she says it's abnormal and has "never heard of anyone running more than 5 days a week" despite having no competitive runner friends or knowledge on the sport) and that running in bad conditions is not "obsessive"?
