I passed a very competitive douche bag master runner once at the end of the race. He came up to me and said " You ran great. What are you carrying an extra ten to 15 pounds".

That would've stopped me dead in my tracks. As in, I'd pause the timer on my watch and walk over the guy/girl and explained that speed and velocity are synonyms.
Lol speed and velocity are synonyms? That's the first I heard of that. One is a scalar, and the other a vector. I do agree that 'speed velocity' is meaningless, however.
It's actually leg-speed velocity.

Had a genuine sounding "good legs" from a distance once as I was approaching a group of teenagers near some shops. As I came closer and passed by, the girl looked shocked, I presume by how old I was. That was a good feeling.
Nice bulge
I got told "Nice legs" at the state high school XC championships one year by girl runner; thought that was really great considering it was basically at a nice-legs-convention.
Another time I was running with a friend who played soccer and ran the 400m. He told me I ran like an African, felt good.
And I always feel so great when I'm running and random, non-runner people yell something out. The usual, "damn you're fine" or w/e but also once got a "You should be running in the street, going faster than the cars."
A woman told me that when I wear compression shorts it leaves nothing to the imagination and I'm very well endowed.
She wanted to see it in person. But I was married at the time. Ugh
I was doing an easy 3 mile barefoot run on turf at a local soccer field. It was 37 degrees and cold sleet was falling. Some High School age players showed up and started to warm up. Several looked at me in awe. As I passed a group, one said to another: "Man, that guy is literally a bad ass". I will excuse the misuse of "literally" in this case :). I really wasn't trying to be a bad ass, I just like to do a few easy barefoot runs a week. But, I could see why the general public might think that.

It was a long time ago, but I was running out to a local beach and some girls driving by shouted out to me:
Nice legs!!!
Sort of made my life. You know what I'm talking about.
Overheard a couple of co-ed's commenting, as we trained at the local JC track "he runs like a greyhound". That was, however many years ago. More like a turtle these days.
